Rih revealed the big news to The Hollywood Reporter, explaining that the agency will assist “artists in booking commercials, editorial shoots, ad campaigns and red-carpet gigs.”
Though nascent, the agency already has talent booked, including Rih’s makeup artist Mylah Morales, stylist Jason Bolden, and hairstylists Patricia Morales and Marcia Hamilton. Of course, the roster won’t end there—Rihanna told THR that they’ll be adding new talent, hand-picked by Rih herself. She says, “We are lucky enough to have some of the best artists at Fr8me, but I also have a soft spot for finding new talent with extraordinary skills!”
Her partner, Benoit Demouy, echoed this sentiment, explaining that the agency will be trolling social media for talent. He says, “But we’re concerned with social media, too — we’ll take a makeup artist with 500,000 followers over someone else.” This won’t be the first time Rih turns to social media to mine for talent—she found her “Bitch Better Have My Money” video costars on Instagram.
